Dutch hotel booking startup Bidroom.com was granted the 1st place Tourism Trends Award 2018 in the IT for travel category as a recognition of its original booking service that offers travelers up to 25% room discounts at 0% commission for hotels.

Marcin Wesołowski, Bidroom’s Director of Operations received the award on the 6th of April in Gdansk, Poland, at the 9th New Trends in Tourism conference, which this year connected close to 500 international travel professionals and entrepreneurs exploring sales, marketing, and tech industry innovations.

“We are humbled that NNT’s demanding jury has recognized the direct booking potential offered by Bidroom to hoteliers under beneficial trade terms. With every conference we attend, it is our aim to present the platform as a fair vehicle for business growth and a reasonable alternative to popularized, high-commission booking platforms,” explains Michael Ros, Bidroom’s CEO.

Ros expects that the award will be recognized as yet another demonstration of Bidroom’s principle of delivering fair booking service to frequent travelers and resourceful hoteliers alike. The company will continue its global expansion while finalizing a launch of a major partnership, which is ought to rapidly grow its user before 2018 ends.
